Truthfully, everything
started with the purchase of the "pushcart"
in January 2007.
From
January to April, it was really like pulling teeth.
Check out the link
below and see if you can imagine my despair.
THE BIBELO’S
RESTORATION
It was crazy because
the car's model was a novelty here, nobody knew anything about Gurgel.
Then, I started
searching for information, hunting for parts, hitting the Internet, etc..
until then, finally, I
found the site
www.gurgel800.com.br
a port more than safe
to anchor our
ignorance, clearing our doubts and bringing light to the "GURGEL"
matter.
Behold, from "it" came true guardian angels
as Fernando João,
Hélio
Puglielli Neto,
Aurélio
Rosatelli, Marcelo Cozzare and many
other, besides, of course, the unbeatable
Darcy
and Geremias
from SOS GURGEL.
All were giving us
information, tips and suggestions in an affective way, until we got
to the final result
that is the "trinket" shown above.
What happened was that
small virus which once infected Dr. Joao Augusto Conrado do Amaral Gurgel,
also took us by surprise, and the love for the brand, the models, and
everything that concerns them, also infected us.
That's exactly why we
are here now, giving our humble contribution in order to supply new
"gurgelers" with those accessories indispensable to the finishing of their
cars which are "a needle in a hay stack" in the market.
My objective here is
not commercial; it is before all things to help friends to preserve their
cars, in that way, preserving the history of the unique 100% Brazilian car.
On the website
Gurgel800 there is a comment about a book by Lelis Caldeira where at one
point the commentator says:
“If genious or visionary, entrepreneur or utopian, successful or failed,
we're
not here to judge. But there is no doubt that Joao Gurgel is part of the
list
of people with fiber who are remembered for making a difference and score
the way they passed.”
So, this is our
objective here.
To you, a big hug and
thanks for visiting my website.
